connector can cause sparking and ignition of
the leaking fuel and air mixture.
Before starting the appliance, all safety and protective
equipment must be properly installed and in its place.
WARNING!
If you have any doubt, ask for help regar-
ding the appliance operation from a professional in
an authorised service centre.
Assembly
Assembly of components
Caution! before any installation and
servicingALWAYS
Turn off the engine
1. Fix the flexible tubular part (Figure 1/16) using
a tubular sleeve on the elbow (Figure 1/10) of the
appliance.
2. Slide the control handle (Figure 1/14) onto the
straight end of the flexible tubular part.
3. Connect the two tubes (Figure 1/11) and insert
tube 2 (Figure 12) into the flexible tubular part.
Thread the mounting of the control handle to secure
the handle on the tube and the tubes to each other.
4. Fasten the free end of the liquid hose (Figure 1/17)
to the shut-off cock (Figure 1/15) or, to be more
specific, Figure 5.
Assembly for spraying
The appliance is set up by the manufacturer for the
„spraying“ function. Before starting the appliance,
check the settings. One part of the accessories is in
the chemical tank when delivered.
1. Open the lid of the chemical tank and pull out the
sieve (Figure 9A). Take the accessories out of the tank.
2. For spraying, the air supply throttle must be
inserted into the chemical tank. Loosen the retaining
clips (Figure 8B) of the air supply connection tube
(Figure 8A).
3. Check that the throttle is inserted into the tank
(Figure 8C) and mount the connection piece (Figure
8A) back.
4. The air supply throttle coupling hose (Figure 9B)
must be connected to the filler sieve in the chemical
tank (Figure 9A).
5. The liquid hose must be mounted at the outlet of
the chemical tank (Figure 4).
6. Slide the nozzle (Figure 1/12) onto the front blow
tube. Install the liquid hose between the nozzle and
the shut-off cock.
7. The amount of liquid can be controlled by the dose
knob (Figure 3) on the nozzle. Minimum - position „1“
/ maximum - position „4“.
Assembly for spraying and dispersion
(solid substances / granulate)
1. Unscrew the liquid hose union nut (Figure 4A) and
lower the hose (Figure 4c) including the reduction
(Figure 4B).
2. Unscrew the liquid hose (Figure 5 B) from the shut-
off cock (Figure 5 A).
3. Install the flexible pipe for solid substances (Figure
2 E). Fit the union nut (Figure 7A) of the flexible
spraying tube (Figure 7B) onto the chemical tank and
tighten it. Connect the other end of the hose to the
connection on the elbow (Figure 6A) and secure it
with a tubular sleeve (Figure 7c).
4. Loosen the rubber hose coupling clamps (Figure
8A) - the hose clips (Figure 8B) are used again.
5. Unscrew the screw cap of the tank. Remove the
sieve (Figure 9 A) and loosen the hose (Figure 9 B)
from the sieve.
6. Pull the air supply throttle (Figure 8 c) out of the
tank opening and remove it together with the hose.
7. Insert the spraying connection piece (Figure 10A)
and fasten it with the hose clamps (Figure 10B).
8. Mount the elbow with openings with the hose (Fi-
gure 11 A) and the spraying funnel to the tank (Figure
11 B) and fasten the screw cap of the tank.
9. Depending on the properties of the granulate,
density, grain size, etc., remove the nozzle (Figure
1/12) from the blow tube. This especially applies to
dispersion, e.g. of salt.
10. Start the appliance and use the spray control
lever (Figure 6 B) to feed the material as needed. Do
not use the hose (Figure 11A) and the funnel (Figure
11 B), depending on the granulate properties, when
spraying or dispersing the granulate.
Adjusting the shoulder strap
The length of the shoulder strap is adjusted by means
of the control buckle (Figure 13 A/B). Adjust the
length of the straps so that you can wear the appli-
ance properly and so that the backboard firmly sticks
to the back and does not hang too low.
To minimize the risk of loss of control, the
appliance may only be operated with the two
shoulder straps included. Never carry the
appliance on only one strap!
