Servicing and keeping
Switch the machine off and unplug it before any
servicing and cleaning.
Keep the ventilation slot and body without any dust and
dirt.
To clean the machine, use a smooth and fine soap water
solution. Prevent any direct contact of aggressive cleaning
agents with the machine. No aggressive, volatile or caustic
cleaning agents may be used.
Once a year, have the electric garden shredder checked
by a qualified authorised professional.
The machine needs to be protected against moisture and
dust.
If the machine is used for a longer time, keep it covered in
a dry, safe place inaccessible to children.
Changing the knife (pic. G)
Wear safety gloves when changing the knife!
Open the cover and loosen the knife (pic. G).
A rotating knife is inbuilt in your garden shredder.
Therefore, you must just turn the knife and tighten it using
the Allen key when replacing the knife for the first time.
Close the cover again after turning/changing both knives.
