6.4.5.1.1 Default Outputs
Entering number 1 in the screen in Fig. 6-40 will choose “1. Default Outputs” to set the
SOUNDER CIRCUIT OUTPUT (hereinafter referred to as Sounder A) and F.P.E
OUTPUT (hereinafter referred to as F.P.E) and the zonal sounders to default output,
which, in a fire alarm condition, will
Automatically start Sounder A, zonal sounders and F.P.E if the “Delay Mode” as
described in Section 6.3.2.4 is set to “Disable”.
Start Sounder A, zonal sounders and F.P.E after 30-second delay if the “Delay
Mode” as described in Section 6.3.2.4 is set to “Enable”.
6.4.5.1.2 C&E Outputs
Entering number 2 in the screen in Fig. 6-40 will choose “2. C&E Outputs” to set
Sounder A, F.P.E and the zonal sounders to output according to C&E equation, and
The above-described “Default Output” will be disabled.
Sounder A , F.P.E and zonal sounders need to be included into the C&E equation,
and
Sounder A , F.P.E and zonal sounders will start subject to the conditions set in the
C&E equation.
Notes:
If the “Delay Mode” described in Section 6.3.2.4 is set to “Disable”, the delay time
set in the C&E equation will be invalid.
Under no condition will the F.P.E output be delayed.
6.4.5.2 Settings Delayed Silence
Inputting number 2 in the screen shown in Fig. 6-39 will enter mute delay setting screen,
as in Fig. 6-41.
