Nut S-8479
An S-8479 is a special 7/16" recessed nut assembly and must be installed so it tightens up to the sidewall.
Nut (S-8479) is used in the following locations:
1. Use in bins 105', 28 rings and taller and 135'
diameter bins.
2. Use in sidewall connections.
NOTE:
Outside stiffened bins with sidewall that is ten
gauge laminated or thicker will have three (3)
sealing washers per sheet provided loose. See
the instructions for installation of these loose
sealing washers. Outside stiffened bins, 42' and
larger diameter also may have loose sealing
washers provided for the roof rafter wall
attachment bracket in the roof assembly
hardware.
3. The color of the bucket lid is light brown.
