Bolt S-7488
An S-7488 is a 3/8" x 1-1/2" JS bolt that is pre-assembled with a sealing washer.
Bolt S-10165
An S-10165 is a 3/8" x 2" JS bolt that is pre-assembled with a sealing washer.
Bolt (S-7488) is used in the following locations:
1. Use in all stiffener to sidewall and overlap connections
where the sidewall is 9 gauge or thicker.
2. Use in vertical and horizontal seams on sidewall that is
6 gauge to 10 gauge laminated.
3. Use in horizontal seams on sidewall that are 9 gauge and
8 gauge laminated.
4. The color of the bucket lid is orange.
NOTE:
Do not use in flanges where the splice plate bolts
to the stiffeners. Sealing washers should not be
used for these connections.

1. Use in bins that are 105' in diameter, 28 rings and taller
and in 135' diameter bins.
2. Use in overlapping seams for 8 gauge to 9 gauge quad
laminated sidewall sheets.
3. Use to connect 6 gauge quad laminated sheets to
one another.
4. Use to attach stiffeners to 6 gauge quad laminated
sidewall sheets.
5. The color of the bucket lid is light blue.
