Description
Temperature & Minimum-speed socket controller is a phase controller
for one or more exhaust fan (The total amount of the fan can not exceed 5A
or 1150W). You can post two settings on two knobs,
(1)
temperature and
(2)
minimum speed setting. The temperature range is from 20-30°C, the
minimum speed setting from OFF position jumps to 20% and is variable up
to 100% speed.
Safety note
The fan controller must be connected to a domestic wall-socket. If
there is a fault in the appliance check the fuse first of all. Always disconnect
the power before opening the controller. There are life threatening voltages
in the appliance. 230V DANGER TO LIFE!
Temperature min. speed socket controller
-On the

temperature setting knob you set the desired temperature,
for example 24°C.
-On the second knob you set the
(2)
minimum speed which never
should be undercut during the regulation, for example we set this on 20%.
The minimum speed setting is the strongest setting and always
overdrive the temperature setting. If you set the
(2)
minimal speed setting
on OFF position, the fan will stop working when the measured temperature
is below the set temperature. The
(2)
minimum speed setting have a 20%
infinitely start up peak to give enough power to the fan to run on low speed.
The hysteresis is a fixed value of 2°C. The hysteresis is the controlling
range of the fan speed. In this 2°C the fan speed will change from the lowest
point given from the
(2)
minimum speed setting, to the highest point of the
regulation 100% of the fan speed depending on the temperature.
As long the measured temperature of the

sensor is below your
setting (24°C) the minimum speed controller keeps your fan working on
according the minimum speed setting (20%). When the temperature rise
and exceed the 24°C the

Temperature LED light shines and fan the
speed starts to increase according the temperature in the next 2°C up to
100% fan speed till 26°C.
Small fans will be variable from 0-100%, as soon you have larger
power consumption (big fans) the controller works semi-variable and will
switch automatic to 100% without variable control. The controller remain
switch on until the temperature drops.
Attention!
A high minimum speed setting with large fans will run 100%
because of internal overheating protection! Reduce the minimum speed!
