2.6 Maintenance and Inspection
Perform the regular inspections of the battery modules following the precautions and
instructions below.
Precautions prior to Battery Module Maintenance and Inspection
・
For maintenance and inspection, wear safety glasses, rubber gloves, and rubber sole
shoes.
・
For inspection, use insulated tools (with the withstand voltage higher than the battery
system’s max. voltage).
・
Inspection must be performed by a person who completely understands the handling
method and the hazards associated with lithium-ion cells.
・
If removal of battery module is necessary for inspection, avoid doing so when it is in the
fully charged state. We recommend discharging the module to its lowest level of charge.
