2.4 Charging and Discharging
Charging or discharging using an incorrect method could make the battery module unusable
and may also cause the battery module to heat up, ignite or explode. For safe use, follow the
precautions below for charging or discharging.
Precautions prior to Charging/Discharging
* Make sure that the environment meets the required conditions mentioned in section 2.2.1.
* Select an appropriate charger, and read the instruction manual and specifications manual
before use.
Precautions during Charging/Discharging
(1) Charge/Discharge Control
Control the battery charge/discharge to the requirements below.
* Max. Cell Voltage: 4.10 V * Max. Charge Current: 125 A
* Min. Cell Voltage: 2.75 V
* Max. Discharge Current: 300 A (60 sec.)
* Ambient Temperature for Battery:-10
℃
to 45
℃
* Continuous Current: 35 A (Effective Value)
* SOC Range: 0 to 100 %
(2) Charge Current and Module Temperature
Be sure to perform charging within the range specified below:
