Copying Video Recordings via the Television

Example of connection
Playback recorder to black Euro-AV socket
or
camcorder to FBAS socket (connect the sound from the cam-
corder to the R IN L phono sockets)
or
S-VHS or Hi 8 camcorder to the S-VIDEO socket (connect the
sound from the camcorder to the R IN L phono sockets).
Connect the recording recorder to the blue AV socket.
Operation
Use the
0
AV
button to select the desired input socket:
A1
= Euro-AV socket (black); indication A1
A2
= blue socket; indication A2
A3
= FBAS socket; indication A3.
A4
= S-VIDEO socket; indication A4.
When connecting to the sockets allocated to programme
position (indication) A3, the sound signal must separately be
passed via the two phono sockets R IN L.
Press the

and then the

AV
button.
"Copy" is displayed on the picture screen. You now can watch
any programme on the television without disturbing copying.
Clearing the "Copy" function:
Select the AV programme position allocated to the playback
recorder by means of the
0
AV
button.
Press the
