Make the potential equalisation of the SAT receiver system in accordance with
DIN EN 60728-11.
• Put the PE wire (Cu 4 - 20 mm

station and fasten the PE wire with the
screw
B (fig. 19) securely (see also
page 8, fig. 4).
• Connect the PE connection terminal to
a potential equalisation rail (supplied
by customer) using the PE wire.

ains ConneCtion
Never operate the device without a protective earth connection, earth connec-
tion to the device and potential equalisation!
To maintain compliance with current EMC regulations (electromagnetic com-
patibility), it is necessary to route the power cord through the supplied ferrite
sleeve.
• Open the ferrite sleeve.
• Make a loop in the power cord and lay the loop inside the ferrite sleeve as
shown in fig. 20.
• Close the ferrite sleeve (fig. 21).
• Connect the power cord to the power socket

(page 8, fig. 4) on the
head-end station and plug the other end into an earthed mains socket.
