Programming the remote control for other
manufacturers’ devices
The remote control of the DVD player can also be used to operate equipment
from other manufacturers, as long as they work with infrared beams. You need
to have the remote control belonging to the other device.
The remote control is supplied programmed for GRUNDIG and similar devices.
Note:
The DVD function level is permanently set for the GRUNDIG DVD-Player and
cannot be reprogrammed.
In exceptional cases it is possible that the TP 80 V cannot learn the functions
of the other device.
Programming function levels

Slide the switch to the function level (TV, VCR, EXT) that you want to
program.
– The indicator for the selected function level lights up for about three
seconds.

Simultaneously press »
AUX
« and »

« until the indicator for the selected
level lights up continuously.

Point the two remote controls at each other at a distance of about five
centimetres.

Press the button on the TP 80 V which you want to program.
– The selected function level indicator flashes once.

On the original remote control, press the button of the function to be learnt
until the selected function level indicator on the TP 80 V flashes twice.
