BEFORE PLAYBACK

Preparation

Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the
digital player.

If an audio system or an AV receiver is connected to the DVD
player, switch it on and select the audio input for the DVD
player.

Switch on the DVD player by pressing »

– The blue indicator on the DVD player goes out.
– Display on the screen: »No Disc«.
Inserting the disc

Press »

« on the DVD player, or
press and hold down »

« on the remote control.
– Display: »Open«, the disc compartment opens.

Put a disc in the disc compartment with the label facing
upwards.

press and hold down »

« on the remote control.
– Display: »Close«, the disc tray retracts again, then after the
»Loading« display the disc is read.
– Display on the DVD player: The elapsed playing time of the
disc.
Notes:
Playback of a DVD, VCD, S-VCD or audio CD (CDDA) starts
automatically.
The file browser appears if an MP4 video CD, MP3, WMA or
JPEG CD is inserted.
If the »

« symbol appears on the television screen, the
selected function is not possible with this disc.
