CLEANING_AND_CARE_____________________

Shake both filters vigorously, then clean in 

warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and 

leave it to dry.

  Never put the filters in the washing machine 

or dry with a hair dryer.

 Ensure both filters are completely dry before 

refitting them.

Notes

 The motor protective filter should be replaced 

every six months, or sooner if necessary.

 The air outlet filter should be replaced every 

six to nine months, or sooner if necessary.

 Frequent washing causes wear and tear on 

the filter.

 Please note: the air outlet filter and the motor 

protective filter are both equipped with active 

hygiene protection from Microban

®

.

Storage

You can store the appliance vertically or hori-

zontally.
In the vertical position, store the brush under-

neath.

In the horizontal position, store the brush in the 

holder

 on the back of the appliance.

Troubleshooting

This appliance is equipped with a safety switch 

which automatically stops the motor when it 

overheats. In the event of overheating, proceed 

as follows:

Turn the appliance off and unplug the power 

cord.

Look for the cause of the overheating 

(blocked hose/tube, dirty filter, etc.).

Remove the blockage or clean the filter.

 Allow the motor to cool down for approx. 30 

to 40 minutes.

Plug in the appliance again and switch it on. 

It should now work properly.

If the appliance does not switch on, wait 

20 minutes and then try again.

 If it still does not work, contact your dealer or 

GRUNDIG Service Center.
