Changing the dust bag

Disconnect the power cord from the wall
socket.

Open the dust housing by pressing down on
the catch

of the dust housing and then lift
up the cover.

Remove the dust bag from its holder.

Seal the dust bag by inserting the catch of
the cardboard reinforcement into the open-
ing.

Dispose of the sealed dust bag.
Caution

Never attempt to empty the dust bag and
then use it again.
Note

The dust container cover cannot be closed
before a new dust bag has been inserted.
Never use force to close the cover.

Insert the new dust bag into the holder.

Close the cover of the dust housing.

Check, whether the appliance works after
changing the dust bag. If the suction power
is still inadequate, accessories tubes or filter
could be blocked (see the following section).
Removing blockages

Disconnect the power cord from the wall
socket.

Check the following parts:
– The flexible contact
Q
of the elastic hose.
– The connection between the guiding grip
K
and the extendable suction tube.
– The connection between the extendable
suction tube

and the floor brush or
other attachments.
Cleaning or replacing the filter
Caution

The dust bag and filter must be fitted before
use, otherwise the motor could be damaged.
In the dust housing (motor protec-
tive filter)

Open the dust housing by pressing down on
the catch
P
of the dust housing and then lift
up the cover.

Pull the dust bag out of the holder, remove
and close.
3
Pull out the filter holder.
