Switching on and off

Pull out the power cord to the length you
require.
Caution

A yellow mark appears at the end of the
cord. The maximum cable length is shown
by a red mark. Never attempt to pull out the
cord beyond the red mark.

Plug the power cord into the wall socket.

Press the

button to switch on the appliance.

After use, switch off the appliance with the
D
button and disconnect the power cord from
the wall socket.

Always disconnect the power cord if the
appliance is not being used.
Suction power control
A suction power control
F
is located on the
body of your vacuum cleaner.
Turn the suction power control
F
to the left-end
to use your vacuum cleaner with the minimum
suction power.
Turn the suction power control
F
to the right-
end to use your vacuum cleaner with the maxi-
mum suction power.
Adjust the suction power control to find the
desired suction power.
Suction control
A suction control is located on the handle
K
,
which you can operate with your thumb. If the
control
L
is fully closed, the maximum suction
power is reached.
However, in some cases it is recommended to
have less suction power, such as when cleaning
material, upholstery or shag pile carpets. Open
the control if and when required.
Dust level display
This display
G
shows how full the dust bag is.
If the display indicates more than 50%, the dust
bag needs to be changed.
If the display is completely red, the dust bag
must be changed immediately, otherwise the
thermal protection circuitry will be activated.
If this happens, the motor stops and cannot be
started again for approx. 30 minutes. Change
the dust bag and wait until the appliance has
completely cooled down.
