The following alignment procedure is to be carried out for the
respectiv picture formats Wide-screen Zoom, Super Live,
Cinema Zoom and Cinema Zoom with subtitles. Start with
the Wide-screen Zoom mode.
–Select the picture format using the
q
button.
–Use the direct-control buttons
Ł ĵ
to adjust the picture
height so that the upper picture edge becomes just visible.
–Beginning with the visible test pattern edge press the
Ł
button according to the picture format:
11 times – Wide-screen Zoom
13 times – Super Live
21 times – Cinema Zoom
17 times – Cinema Zoom with subtitles
–Check the picture formats and adjust them if necessary:
–according to the convergence test patterns (Point 6.3)
Call up: press the
ɾ
(yellow)
button twice.
Select the picture format by pressing the
q
button.
–or with the help of the FUBK test pattern.
Feed in the FUBK test pattern then press the
e
button
repeatedly until the pattern is visible.
Select the picture format by pressing the
q
button.
–If necessary end the service mode by pressing the standby
button

or switching the set off.

formats, Point 6.3). Start with the Wide-screen Zoom mode.
–Select the picture format using the

–Use the

buttons on the set to select the service
function then use the

buttons to carry out the settings:
–Use HPOS to adjust the horizontal picture centre, and
use VPOS to adjust the vertical picture centre.
–Use VPS to select the correct operating point (best
picture quality).
–Use VLIN to adjust the vertical linearity.
–Use VSC to adjust the vertical symmetry.
–Use VFC to adjust the vertical linearity in the bottom
picture area.
–Use TRAP to correct the trapezoidal distortion.
–Use PARA to carry out the EAST-WEST correction.
–Use CNR to carry out the vertical correction in the
corners.
–Check the picture formats and adjust them if necessary
according to the convergence test patterns (Point 6.3)
– Call up: press the
