Assemble the joint links (7). The arrows on
each part must line up with one another.
Make a loop with the cord (5) and hang it
securely around the cord holder. Secure the
cord to the extension shaft using the cord
clip (6).
Use as a weed burner
Push the weed nozzle (13) over the hot air
nozzle (12) and gently turn it so that it is
securely in place.
The weed nozzle must face parallel with the
ground when holding the weed burner in the
working position.
The weed burner looks as illustrated.
Connect the cord (5) to an extension lead.
A small amount of smoke may be emitted
when the weed burner is used for the � rst
time. This is normal and does not mean there
is a defect.
Switch the weed burner on and select the
required heat setting using the on/off button
(9). Allow the weed burner to warm up for 1
minute before starting to use it.
Hold the weed nozzle 1-5 cm above the
weed for around 5 seconds.
Note! The weed must not burn or char.
Instead, the powerful heat eff ect causes the
weed to wither and die within a few days.
