consideration the periods when the device is turned off , or if it is turned on but is not used for work. In
this way, the total (calculated per a full-time work) vibration exposure can be much lower.
Additional safety measures should be implemented to protect the operator from the eff ects
against exposure to vibration, e.g.: power tools and work tools maintenance, securing the prop-
er temperature of hands, to determining the order of work operations.
WORK PREPARATION:
Make sure you toggle the switch to the “OFF” position (6). Plugging the device to the power source with
the switch in “ON” position can lead to unintentional startup of the tool which poses a threat to
safety.
If your work area requires use of extension cable, use the cables with contractors of minimum cross-sec-
tion of 1,5mm. Using smaller cable can result in reduction of machine’s capacity and overheating,
which can cause ignition.
Plug the machine to the mains protected with residual-current device.
Work tool mounting/dismounting
In order to mount the work tool on the machine:
1.
Make sure that the tool is unplugged from the power source
2.
Check if the chuck (1) or (2) is well maintained: if it is clean and greased. If not, clean it and
grease it (you can use e.g. machine grease)
3.
In the case of chuck (1) open the jaws of the chuck using the key (7) if need be.
4.
In the case of chuck (2) open the jaws using the opening/closing rings which are the construc-
tion elements of the chuck.
5.
Slide the work tool into the chuck and mount it by closing the jaws (thighten them with a key
or rings).
6.
In order to dismount the work tool repeat the steps 3-5 and remove the work tool from the
chuck.
Work mode selection
The tool allows for selecting between hammer-drilling and drilling. In order to select a desired work
mode:
1.
Unplug the tool from the power source
2.
Turn the switch (5) to position marked with a hammer for hammer-drilling or with a drill for
drilling.
Drilling depth regulation
The tool is provided with a Depth Gauge Rod (3) mounted on the side handle (6). The gauge can be
slided in and out to select the maximum depth to be reached by the drill. In order to select the drilling
depth:
1.
Loosen the knob (4)
2.
Slide out or in the gauge rod (3) to reach the desired depth
3.
Tighthen the knob (4).
