6. Attach spindle support to notcher using hex
bolts removed in
Step 1.
Note: We recommend that height of spindle
support be adjusted so hole saw is as close
as possible to workpiece without touching.
This will help minimize flex in notcher.

5. Loosen (2) hex bolts shown in Figure 7,
adjust clamp to desired angle, then tighten
hex bolts.

Note: For cutting steel pipe and tubing, we
recommend bi-metal hole saws. These can
be operated at up to 500 RPM for most
diameters and should be operated at higher
speeds for thin wall tubing.
Installing Hole Saw and Workpiece
Hole saws attach to the notcher by threading them
onto the end of the spindle.

To install hole saw and workpiece:
1. Remove (2) hex bolts shown in Figure 4 to
remove spindle support from notcher.
4. Place workpiece into clamp of notcher as
shown in
Figure 6, then tighten clamp until
workpiece is secured.
