The way cover should be installed to protect and
keep the back portion of the cross ways clean.
Tools required: Qty
Phillips Screwdriver, short handle ..................... 1
To install the way cover:
1. Remove the four screws from the machine
at the way cover mounting location (
Figure
11 ). Note: The two screws located near the
column use a nut and washer.
2.
Place the way cover on the machine and
align it with the fastener holes.
3. Attach the way cover with the four screws
removed in
Step 1
.

Install and tighten the three handles on the
handwheels shown in
Figure 12 .
