Table Inserts
The Model G1071 is supplied with three different
sized table inserts. The inserts are designed to
reduce the gap between the spindle and the table
opening. The hole in each insert is oblong to allow
clearance when the table is tilted.

clearance around the spindle.
To install the table insert:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Determine which table insert is best for the
particular spindle you are using.
3. Install the insert over the mounted spindle
and into the recessed hole on the table, as
shown in
Figure 24.
Note: The insert is fitted with pins that allow
it to fit into the table in only one position. This
ensures the table insert will not make con-
tact with the spindle even when the table is
tilted.
4. Adjust the set screws shown in Figure 25
so the top of the insert is flush with the table
surface.
