Adjusting Table
Vertical Height

screw that functions as a depth stop to adjust the
table height for boring operations.

Hex Wrench 6mm.............................................. 1
To adjust table vertical height:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Loosen lock nut (see Figure 44).
—To raise table height, turn cap screw
counterclockwise.
—To lower table height, turn cap screw
clockwise.

3. Test depth stop by inserting boring bit into
chuck, clamping a sample workpiece to table,
and raising table with elevation handwheel
until depth stop contacts stop block.
4. Adjust depth stop as needed, then tighten
lock nut to secure setting.
9. Repeat Steps 6–8 and adjust cap screw as
needed until table is parallel to chuck axis.
10. Tighten lock nuts on adjustment cap screw to
secure table parallelism.
8. Loosen (3) lock nuts on adjustment cap
screw (see
Figure 43).
—To lower outer edge of table, rotate cap
screw clockwise.
—To raise outer edge of table, rotate cap
screw counterclockwise.
