SECTION 4: OPERATIONS
To reduce your risk of
serious injury, read this
entire manual BEFORE
using machine.
To reduce risk of eye injury from flying
chips or lung damage from breathing dust,
always wear safety glasses and a respirator
when operating this machine.
If you are not experienced with this type
of machine, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND
that you seek additional training outside of
this manual. Read books/magazines or get
formal training before beginning any proj-
ects. Regardless of the content in this sec-
tion, Grizzly Industrial will not be held liable
for accidents caused by lack of training.
Operation
To use downdraft table:
1. Place workpiece on table.
2. Place panels in upright position, latching
them with star knobs or folding side panels
down when working on larger pieces that
extend beyond the table.
3. Turn downdraft table ON and perform opera-
tion (see Figure 11).
4. Turn downdraft table OFF when finished.

Side Panel
This downdraft table features two separate 3⁄4
HP, 110V, single-phase motors that draw dust
from the work table into a two-stage filter system,
virtually eliminating dust from the air. The side
panels can be latched in place or folded down to
make room for larger workpieces.
Dust is collected in two drawers that can be easily
removed at the front of the machine.
Always ensure objects have not fallen into or
between table plate and collection area. When
machine is not in use, remove safety key from ON/
OFF switch to avoid accidental start up.
