To install the carriage mounting bracket:
1. Align the locating pins on the back of the car-
riage mounting bracket with the sockets on
the jointer table (see
Figure 17).

2. Tighten the carriage mounting bracket to the
jointer table with the cap screws, lock wash-
ers, and flat washers (see
Figure 18).
