Attaching the footrest

Prearrangement
TIP
Bring the couch into the highest sitting position and the backrest into a flat position. Swivel the
seat all the way up and the leg section all the way down (see 4.3 Hand control).
Way of proceeding

Bring the couch into the shown position [A].

Position the cross bar (1) and the rocker lever (2) so that both can be connected to the axle [C].
Move the footrest (3) manually until the correct position is reached [B].
NOTE
Ensure that the cables cannot be squeezed or jammed.
3.
Insert the axle (4) and reinstall the circlip (5).
The circlips on the axles must re-engage correctly [D].
CAUTION
Risk of trapping and crushing.
The axle may slip out and the footrest may then drop unexpectedly.
