Setting the Display Contrast
The LCD can be adjusted for best readability.
1.
Press and hold the
DISPLAY/SOURCE/READ
button while turning the meter on.
2.
Turn the digital pot knob until the display is most legible.
3.
Press the
STORE/RESET
button or wait 5 seconds for the IPM-400 to store the setting.
Turning the LCD Backlight On and Off
The IPM-400 display features a backlight to make it easier to read in dim lighting. To extend
the life of the batteries, turn the backlight off when it is not needed.
1.
Turn the meter on and wait for the normal display to appear.
2.
Press and hold the
DISPLAY/SOURCE/READ
button for 3 seconds and then release.
3.
To turn the backlight off, repeat step 2.
