4. Completely remove the shoe by following these
steps.
a. Remove the lock collar, and slide the shoe 1”
away from the sprocket.
b. After the shoe is unlocked, lift and remove the
shoe by performing a two-person lift, with one
person on each side of the shoe.
5. Using the
BEND
or
UNLOAD
button, accurately
align the drive hole at the 12 o’clock position with
the round centering hub behind the sprocket.
This spoke
at 3 o’clock
position.
Align this drive hole
with centering hub.
6. To reset and zero the bender, first press and hold
the
CLEAR
button on the pendant, and then in
addition press and hold the
JOG
button. Continue
to hold both buttons until the pendant displays “--”,
which indicates the bender has been successfully
reset and zeroed. The buttons must be held for
approximately 10 seconds.
7. Reinstall the shoe and lock collar.
