Fully Programmed Bending

Steps 7–10 are the same for a 3D bend as for an
offset bend with the following exception: After
making the first bend, you will be instructed to
rotate the conduit by some angle counterclockwise
or clockwise. Clockwise means pushing the bent leg
to the back of the bender while counterclockwise
means pushing the bent leg toward the front of the
bender.

Note: Placing a protractor on the tail end of the
conduit before making the first bend will aid in
knowing how far to rotate the conduit.
7. Press
NEXT
to proceed or
BACK
to return to the
previous screen.
8. Place a tape measure and place marks at the dis-
played distances.
9. Press “SAVE” to save the programmed bend to the
bender’s local memory; or press “SAVE USB” to
save the programmed bend to a USB thumb drive;
or press
NEXT
to proceed making the programmed
bend; or press
BACK
to return to the previous
screen.
10. Load conduit and line up the front of the hook with
the first mark. Press
BEND
until the bender stops.
The display will show both the stop angle and the
actual bend angle. Unload the conduit and reload
aligning up to the second mark. Press
BEND
until
the bender stops. Repeat as necessary until the
display shows “BENDING COMPLETE”.
