D. Cascading with 4x8/4x16 HDMI Cat-X Expander
Cascading two devices is ideal for advanced HDMI expanding applications
especially when more than 4 different sources is required. Recommended
extension between two Expanders is meters for 080p resolution. Connection
to receiving HDMI displays please refer to section A and B.
Requirement for cascading the system-
x 4x8/4x6 HDMI Cat-X Expander (EP-HC0408/EP-HC046) and
power cord.
x HDMI-RJ4 Receiver (HDMI-HR)
x Cat-X cable (max. m@080p)
• STEP : Complete local source installation, please refer to page .
• STEP : Connect Expander “LINK OUT” to HDMI-RJ4 Receiver using Cat-X
cable.
• STEP 3: Connect HDMI-RJ4 Receiver to secondary Expander “HDMI IN”.
• STEP 4: Connect local and remote displays according to section A and B
• STEP : Power on all devices.
NOTE: For optimum display, further cascading is not recommended.
