Remote Control Battery Replacement
1.
Press-down the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control, then slide it in the direc-
tion of the arrow as shown in the illustration below.
2.
Replace the depleted batteries with two new 1.5 V AAA batteries. Make sure the positions of the “+”
and “–” polarities match the markings inside the battery compartment.
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover.

Post-season Storage
1.
Set the temperature at 30 °C (86 °F) and let the unit run for half a day. This is to dry the inside of the unit.
2.
Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the power cord.
3.
Clean the dust filter then put it back into the unit.
4.
Clean the appliance thoroughly.
5.
Take the batteries out of the remote control.
6.
Cover the air conditioner and all its components with a plastic bag. Store the appliance in a cool, dry
place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and excessive dust.
