Description of function
The "thermio™ essential BCP" contact thermostat is a thermostat that is used to regulate the water
temperature, and which is fastened to the cylinder or to a pipe. The current water temperature is meas-
ured directly on the surface of the cylinder or the pipe by means of a contact (Fig. 1/1).
The temperature setpoint is set using the temperature adjustment knob (Fig. 1/2). When the contact
allows the thermostat to detect a decrease in temperature, the heating system is switched on and, once
the temperature setpoint is reached, is switched off again.
Temperature adjustment knob
There is a clearly marked dial (Fig. 1/3) on the temperature adjustment knob. Turning the temperature
adjustment knob allows the temperature setpoint to be set on the indicator marker (Fig. 1/4).
