Section 4 — Maintenance
Removing the Top of the Control Panel Enclosure
This procedure should be performed on a flat surface with enough room for
both the top and bottom of the panel enclosure when separated. Foam or
other soft supportive material should be on hand to support and prevent
damage to the buttons, joysticks, etc. on the top of the control panel enclo-
sure.
CAUTION
Two people are required for this procedure with a 3-M/E Control Panel.
1.
Switch the power off and disconnect all external connections (Power,
LAN, etc.)
2.
Loosen and remove the screws (16 for 2-M/E and 20 for 3-M/E) located
beneath the outer edge of the panel, as shown in

3.
Carefully lift the top of the panel enclosure, from the front, so the back
rests on the rear of the enclosure bottom, as shown in

Be careful
not
to place stress on the Ribbon/Display Cables when opening the
enclosure.
