HOW TO UPDATE THE BELKIN MODEM/ROUTER FIRMWARE

To update the routers firmware please ensure that the following procedure is undertaken from a
computer that is connected to the router via a hardwired cable

Save the file to a location of your choice.
•
Login to the router configuration utility (http://192.168.2.1)
•
Click firmware update (this is located under the heading utilities on the left menu bar)
•
Browse to where the file was saved and then click o.k.
•
Click update and then follow the onscreen instructions.
Once complete restore the Modem Router to factory defaults by using the restore to factory defaults
option located in the router configuration utility. Please ensure that the router is restored to factory
defaults after upgrade, as the unit requires a complete reset to ensure that the update completes.
NOTE: Please ensure that you have all your details to hand (i.e. ISP) as restoring the unit to factory
default will erase any settings entered.
