Figure 5-8. Lever Arm and Joystick Test Menu
There is one row of data for each leverarm or joystick. Rotating the
leverarm or joystick will cause the data in the row associated with that
leverarm or joystick to change.
The columns identify different components:
■
JoyLever
ÑIdentifying name for lever arm or joystick
■
Raw
ÑThe raw analog value read from the lever arm or joystick axis
(four digit hexcode)
■
Raw-Lever-2 sec-Min
ÑThe minimum value of Raw over each 2
second interval (+ or - followed by 1-3 digits)
■
Raw-Lever-2 sec- Max
ÑThe maximum value of Raw over each 2
second interval (+ or - followed by 1-3 digits)
■
Raw-Lever-2 sec-Avg
ÑThe average value of Raw over each 2 second
interval (- - or | - followed by + or - then 1-3 digits)
The purpose of the test is to verify the range of each lever arm or joystick
axis. If the numbers change as the lever arm or joystick axis is moved then
the lever arm or joystick axis is okay. The lever arm or joystick axis is not
functioning if the numbers stay at default when the lever arm or joystick
axis is moved.
