MINI CIRCULAR SAW, SAFETY WARNINGS
DETAILED INFORMATION FOR SAFE USE OF CIRCULAR SAWS
DANGER
Ɣ
Keep your hands away from cutting area and cutting blade.
Ɣ
Do not reach under the processed material.
Guard does not protect from rotating cutting blade below
processed material.
Ɣ
Adjust cutting depth to thickness of processed material.
It is recommended that the cutting blade
reaches below the processed material no more than tooth-length.
Ɣ
Never hold processed material in hands, never keep it on legs. Fix processed material to sound
base.
Good fixing of processed material is important to avoid danger of contact with body, rotating
cutting blade being caught or loss of control over the operation.
Ɣ
Hold the insulated surfaces of the saw that are designed for such purpose whenever the rotating
cutting blade can encounter live wires or the power cord of the saw.
Contact with power tool metal
parts and live wire may cause operator’s electric shock.
Ɣ
When ripping always use guide for ripping or edge guide.
It improves cutting accuracy and reduces
risk of pinching the rotating cutting blade in material.
Ɣ
Use only cutting blades with correct arbour hole diameter.
Cutting blades that do not match seating
may operate with eccentric offset, which causes loss of control over operation.
Ɣ
Never use damaged or incorrect washers or bolts to install cutting blade.
Washers and fixing bolts
for cutting blade installation were designed especially for circular saw to provide optimal operation and
safety of use.
DETAILED INFORMATION FOR SAFE USE OF CUT OFF SAWS
Ɣ
Use the power tool only when included guard is installed. Guard must be securely fitted to power
tool and adjusted to guarantee the best possible safety level, which means that cutting blade part
facing operator must be shielded as much as possible.
The guard must protect the operator against
splinters and accidental contact with cutting blade.
Ɣ
Use cutting blades or diamond discs.
Possibility of equipment installation in the power tool alone does
not guarantee safe use.
Ɣ
Maximum permissible rotary speed of a working tool must not be lower than maximum rotary
speed specified for the power tool.
Working tool that exceeds permissible rotary speed may crack and
part of it may splinter.
Ɣ
Use cutting blades and discs only for tasks they are designed for. For example, never grind with
side surface of a cutting disc.
Cutting discs are designed to remove material with disc edge. Applying
side force may break disc of this type.
Ɣ
Always use undamaged fixing flanges with size matching to cutting disc or blade.
Proper flanges
support cutting disc and reduce risk of breaking.
Ɣ
Outer diameter and thickness of working tool must match to power tool dimensions.
Working tools
with incorrect dimensions may be insufficiently shielded or controlled.
Ɣ
Discs, blades, pads, flanges and other equipment must exactly match to spindle of the power
tool.
Working tools that do not match precisely to power tool spindle rotate unevenly, produce hard
vibrations and may cause loss of control over the power tool.
Ɣ
Do not use damaged working tools under any circumstances. Check working tools for cracks
and dents before each use. In case of dropping power tool or working tool, make sure it is not
