The operating manual must be read completely before commissioning.

The operating manual must be kept in the vehicle and be accessible to the driver at all
times.

The driver's seat may only be installed, serviced and repaired by qualified personnel.
Any country-specific regulations and installation instructions of the vehicle manufacturer
must be observed.
The respective country-specific installation instructions can be obtained from
GRAMMER
AG and its representatives or from the vehicle manufacturer.

A driver's seat that always functions and is individually adjusted to the driver is a
prerequisite for maintaining your health. Maintain the functionality of your driver's seat by
performing regular maintenance and functional tests.
The functional tests must be adapted at least to the maintenance intervals of the
vehicle (refer to the vehicle maintenance plan).

The operating manual must be kept together with the driver's seat. If the driver's seat is
passed on to third parties, the operating manual must also be passed on.

Modifications that serve technical progress and resulting deviations from the standard
seat are subject to change without notice.
Safety instructions

Incorrectly adjusted driver' s seats have a lower dynamic range.
In order to avoid personal injury, the weight must be adjusted to the specific weight of the
driver
each time the vehicle is put into service and each time the driver is changed .

To avoid injury, no objects must be stored at the mid-point of the seat's dynamic
range.

Before commissioning the driver's seat, any packaging materials must be removed
from the seat and back cushions.

To avoid the risk of accidents, check that all adjustment devices are correctly engaged
before the vehicle is commissioned.

The adjustment devices of the driver's seat may not be activated during operation .

When actuated, grasp the lever of the longitudinal adjustment device only at the front of
the recessed grip provided for this purpose (do not grasp the entire lever).

CRUSHING HAZARD –

When the backrest cushion is removed , the backrest adjustment may only be actuated
if the backrest plate is supported by hand, for example. Failure to observe this rule may
result in
increased risk of injury if the backrest plate snaps forward.
