Scope of supply
The scope of supply for the fluid bed XXL set-up kit includes:
•
Inlet and outlet scum baffles for the individual preliminary sedimentation tanks, fluid bed tanks,
final sedimentation tanks and sludge accumulators,
•
Lip seals in DN 100 for the tank connections. For 50 inhabitants or more a DN 150 seal is
included, in case the supply line is in DN 150,
•
Control equipment,
•
Compressor.
The following are not included in the scope of supply:
•
KG pipes for the tank connections,
•
Hoses to supply air from the switch cabinet to the septic tanks. The air hoses needed can be
taken from Tabelle 1,
•
Lubricant, sealant, Teflon tape, etc.,
•
Core drill Ø 124mm. This can be ordered separately from Otto Graf GmbH,
•
Carat S septic tanks; these should be ordered separately.
The control equipment consists of the control cabinet with microprocessor control, motor protection switch
(for 50 inhabitants or more), 1-2 solenoid valves and the air compressor.
Separate instructions are available detailing how to operate and service the control unit.
For systems for less than 50 inhabitants, power is supplied through an earthed safety socket to be
provided by the customer. Larger systems must be connected by an electrician in accordance with the
terminal plan supplied. It is essential to observe the compressor’s direction of rotation.
