Check Heater
Check the continuity of the heater to verify proper
resistance. If there is no continuity, the heater has failed
and needs to be replaced.
1.
Disable the applicator. See

2.
Check the resistance of the heater using a
multi-meter between the pins of the cordset
connector. See the illustrations of the two types of
connectors in
Table 1
and
Table 2
on this page.
3.
Replace the heater cartridge if the resistance
reading is outside the range or if there is no
continuity. See

.
