Troubleshooting
1. Follow Pressure Relief Procedure , page 8, before
checking or repairing the equipment.
2. Check all possible problems and causes before
disassembling.
Problem Cause Solution
The reel does not retract Worn or broken spring Replace the reel.
Hose reel swivel is leaking fluid
and/or air Worn or damaged swivel seals Replace swivel seals. See page 22
to determine the swivel or seal kit
needed.
Fluid delivery is slow Pressure setting on the pump is too
low Increase fluid pressure.
