Mount the Converter

Mount the converter (Fig.1) to the wall or other secure

surface using the mounting holes. Do not let the unit

hang unsecured.

CAUTION

Do not mount the pulse converter near a heat source.

Connect the Converter

NOTE:

When connecting the converter to the pulse

meter, use only the connecting cables permanently

attached to each unit. Do not use extension cables to

lengthen the distance between the pulse meter and the

converter.

A distance greater than 24 inches (61

cm) between the units can degrade the signal.

1. Turn off the Electronic Fluid Commander and

unplug it.

2. Connect the converter to the pulse meter first

using the connector with two female sockets.

3. Connect the converter to the Electronic Fluid

Commander (EFC) using the remaining male

connector.

4. Plug in the Electronic Fluid Commander and turn

on the switch at the rear of the control.

Note:

During power--up, all display segments must

show and all stations and dispense lights must light

steadily for 3 to 4 seconds. When the display shows

four dashes, enter your security code. (Refer to the

Electronic Fluid Commander manual for details).
