4. Lubricate the O-rings and the guide rings on the pis-
tons (synthetic grease i.e. ISO Flex Topas NCA 52).
Insert the pistons into the cylinder housing while
ensuring the needles fit in the hole in the piston.
Push the pistons and needles together so the nee-
dles are correctly seated in the piston. Apply a small
amount of thread sealing compound on the screws
locking the needle in position. Tighten the screws.
Check that the pistons/needles can be moved freely
albeit with a bit of drag.
5. Mount the springs and cylinder cover.
6. Apply light lubrication on all gaskets and O-rings
prior to fitting them on the internal parts of the swivel
housing.
7. Insert flange bearings (if removed) into swivel hous-
ing and bearing housing. Optional mounting tool
(17V972) shown.
