7.4  Automatic Valve Operation

  A.  The valves in the SERIES 5900 DID Gas Chromatograph can be operated either    

   manually by the touchscreen or through the use of the DB9 connectors on the rear of  

   the GC.  The external valve selection on the LCD touchscreen must be selected    

   to "ON" in order to accept the signals from a remote source or  software.  

 

 

   The schematic below shows the pin configuration for the valves in relation to the    

   DB9 connector. The DB25 connector board can be used to remotely control the GC  

   and digitally read the output signal. See schematic below for wiring configuration.
