Disconnect jumper from the two fittings located on the inside oven, left .
Connect a jumper from the "Connection FROM Separator" or "Connection FROM
Trap" fitting located on the inside oven, to the left column.
Connect a jumper from the "Connection TO Separator" or "Connection TO Trap"
fitting located on the inside oven, left to the left-most column fitting.

3.9 Gas Connections (General)
A. The SERIES 5900 DID GC requires the following gases:
Research or Ultra High Purity Helium (He) or Purified Helium for the carrier gas
and the discharge gas
Instrument Grade Helium (He) for actuating the valve and purging the DID
housing
B. The Ultra High Purity Helium Gas cylinder should be equipped with an Ultra
High Purity Helium Regulator.
