Tape Missing
No videotape in recording deck.
• Insert a videotape in the recording deck.
Tape Missing Tab
No record safety tab in videocassette.
• Insert a video cassette with the record
safety tape intact, or place a small piece
of adhesive over the opening to permit
recording.
Not Ready
The recording Deck is not in Stop mode
(i.e. it is playing, rewinding, etc.).
• Stop the recording deck.
Overlapping Events
Two or more events are programmed to
occur at the same time.
• The earliest event will record in its
entirety, then the next latest event will
begin if there is still time remaining (see
sample chart at right).
Note: No error message is shown on the
screen or front panel display when two
events overlap.
Timer Recording Errors
If there is a problem with your
Timer Recording, the Timer
icon will flash on the Front
Panel Display and an error
message will appear on the
On-Screen Display. Once you
correct the error, the event will
begin if there is still time
remaining for that event.
