We therefore recommend regularly removing limescale deposits with a standard descal-
ing agent for coffee machines in accordance with the water quality in your area and how
often the device is used (approx. every 2 – 6 weeks).
The
fi
rst indications that descaling is required are a large amount of steam being pro-
duced and slower brewing of the coffee.
Storage
Disconnect the device from the mains power when it is not going to be used for a pro-
longed period. Clean the device again if necessary (see the “Cleaning and Care” chap-
ter) and let it dry completely.
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from
direct sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.

If the device does not work properly,

rst check whether you are able to rectify the prob-
lem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the following steps, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
