WARNING – Danger of Scalding
■
Avoid coming into contact with the rising steam. Do not open the water tank lid during
the brewing process.
■
The water tank must have cooled down before it is
fi
lled with cold water. Otherwise
there could be a blast of steam. Never pour water into the water tank during the
brewing process!
■
Always allow the
fi
lter holder and
fi
lter to cool down
fi
rst before they are removed
from the device.
■
Do not move the device during the brewing process.
■
Do not use the jug if its handle is loose or damaged. It could be dropped and the hot
coffee in the jug could cause scalding.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

The device should only be used if it has been correctly assembled! Before each use,
check whether the
fi
lter holder and the jug are inserted correctly and whether the
water tank is
fi
lled correctly.
■
The device may only be operated in an upright position, never tilted.
■
Position the mains cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
Only use the jug which is also supplied with this device. Do not use it on a stove or
in the microwave.
■
Never place the hot glass jug on a cold surface or
fi
ll it with cold water. The glass
might shatter.
■
Never use the device without the jug below the coffee outlet.
■
If there are problems during operation, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and
allow the device to cool down.
■
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before a thunderstorm.
■
When you pull it out of the socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the mains
cable!
■
Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■
Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the function-
ing of the device and to prevent possible damage.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked
fl
ames, frost, persistent moisture, wet conditions
and impacts.
