STEP 16: SECOND LEVEL DECK SPACERS

1: PLACE THE 5/4 X 4 X 40-3/8" DECK SPACER AT ONE END OF THE FORT. CENTER THE BOARD BETWEEN THE 

CORNER POSTS AND ATTACH IT WITH 2" WOOD SCREWS THROUGH THE PREDRILLED HOLES AND INTO THE DECK 

SUPPORT BELOW. NOTE: THE TOP OF THE SCREW HEAD SHOULD BE FLUSH TO THE TOP OF THE DECK SPACER.

2: REPEAT PREVIOUS SUB-STEP FOR THE OPPOSITE END OF THE FORT.
