CONNECTION TO OTHER HEATING SOURCES
Heat pump water heater with a shell and tube heat exchanger in the hot water storage tank allows preparation of domestic hot water
in combination with different sources of energy (e.g. central heating, solar power etc.).
Connection options to different heating sources are shown below.

With a temperature decline of an additional heating source and with an enabled water circulation through the heat
exchanger proper temperature control of the additional source must be ensured.
If the additional energy source is solar power, the operation of the aggregate of the heat pump must be shut off. The
combination of two heating sources can lead to overheating of the hot water and thus to excessive pressures.
The circulation pipeline causes additional temperature decline in the hot water storage tank.
