Automatic heat-up function
The automatic heat-up function temporarily increases the power
(setting ‘9.’) to heat the contents of the pan faster. This function
is available in all settings except the ‘Boost’ setting and setting
‘9.’.
Switching on the automatic heat-up function
The hob is switched on and a pan has been placed in a cooking
zone.
1. Slide your
fi nger across the slider to the desired level and hold
your fi nger at that position for approximately three seconds.
2. “A” will appear on the display. If the setting “4” is selected, “4”
and “A” will fl ash alternately on the display. Attention!
3. When the pan is heated up to the selected temperature, the
automatic heat-up function will be switched off, and the cooking
zone will resume operation at the selected level.
The below table shows the duration of the automatic heat-up
function for each power setting:

Switching off the automatic heat-up function
Symbol “A” and the selected cooking power will fl ash alternately
on the display,
1. To select a cooking zone, touch the slider sensor. A different
power level will be displayed, and the symbol “A” will stop
fl ashing. Alternatively:

3. Touch the slider sensor on the far left end to select the cooking
zone. The display will read “0”. The symbol “A” will stop
fl ashing and the cooking zone will be switched off.
Boost
The ‘Boost’ function is used to cook at maximum power for
a short period of time (maximum 10 minutes). The power is
reduced to setting 9 at the end of the maximum boost time.
Activating the power boost function
Switch on the cooking hob and place a pan on a cooking zone.
1. Touch the sensor key for the desired cooking zone. This
sensor key can also be used when the cooking power has
already been set.
2. Power boost function is instantly activated.
