HEATING THE WATER TO DESIRED TEMPERATURE (TEA MAKER)
1. Pour potable water into the glass jug and cover it with the lid (A). Never add more than 1000 ml of water.
2. Press the program selector key (P2/1) to select the desired program. The light above the selected program will
light up. Temperature (P3/4) and program settings (3/5) icons will appear on the LCD display. After three
seconds, the program settings icon (P3/5) turns to operation icon (P3/6). The preset temperature is 90°C, but it
can be adjusted using the + and
– keys.
3. The water in the jug is brought to a boil; then, the appliance will maintain the set temperature. Temperature is
displayed on the LCD display.
4. Switch off the appliance after use.
DELAYED APPLIANCE START (PRESET)
The delayed start function may be used for two programs: heating water for infant formula, and milk reheating. This
function allows you to set a delay before the appliance starts operating. The longest possible delay is 24 hours.
1. Press the program selector key (P2/1) to select the desired program. The light above the selected program will
light up. The light above the infant formula water heating program will also light up. If you press the program
selector key again, the light above the milk reheating program will light up.
2. When you select the desired program (infant formula water heating, or milk reheating), the timer icon (P3/3),
temperature icon (P3/4), and program settings icon (P3/5) appear on the LCD display. The preset time is 60
minutes, but it can be adjusted using the + and
– keys. After three seconds, the program settings icon (P3/5)
turns to operation icon (P3/6).
3. The appliance will automatically switch to power saving mode.
4. When the set delay time expires, the appliance will switch on automatically and start the selected function.
5. Switch off the appliance after use.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the power mains and let it cool down.
Rinse the lid and the bowl with hot water. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners. Use a damp cloth
to clean the interior and exterior of the appliance. Do not wash the bowl and the lid in a dishwasher.
Descaling the appliance
Regular descaling of the appliance will extend its useful life.
With normal use, descaling is recommended in the following intervals:
Once every three months is the water in your water supply system is soft (up to 18 dH),
Once per month if the water in your water supply system is hard (over 18 dH).
1. Fill the appliance with a mixture of vinegar and water (50 ml of white wine vinegar with acetic acid content of
8%, and 100 ml of water).
2. Switch on the appliance and select the milk reheating program.
3. Let the appliance operate for 10 minutes.
